Welcome to the Forest City Riders web page. The Forest City Riders are a group of motorcyclists that enjoy all forms of motorcycling and are based in the Rockford, IL area. Over the years the club has put on poker runs, trails, flat tracks, and still currently promotes Enduros, Dual Sports, and Hare Scrambles. If you would like to get involved in a club with like minded motorcycle enthusiasts please attend a meeting, check out an event or email us for more information on the club. 7/30/10 August 1st Hare Scramble Info: This event is a partnership with MotoSports Park and WFO Promotions. We will be running the WFO event schedule and have it listed on the Schedule page. We will also be following the WFO trophy payout / AA payout. Directions are listed on the Directions page. Note: The Rockford Airfest is going on this weekend so if you are coming from the north there may be heavy traffic on Bypass 20 and the Route 2 area. Note: We will not be running 4 wheelers at this event. We will be paying points for District 16 as well and will be running a Vintage class for 1 hour that will run with the C, +50, & +40B classes (these classes will still run for 1:30). District 16 Riders: Please bring your transponders as Bill will be there scoring with those but only for D16 riders chasing points. After you sign up for a D17 class you will then see BIll and he will set you up in Mototalley like normal. You will run a fender card and be scored at the barrels with everyone else then right after the normal scoring barrels it will be single file and everyone will ride through the transponder area. For trophies you will be scored useing the fender card and in a D17 class, the transponders will only help Bill do D16 classes and points for the D16 series. Sorry to do it this way but it will work best for both sides doing it this way. Course info: The corse is right at 4 miles for the big bikes and most of the woods trail is new. We are running the MX track again but will be avoiding a couple new big tabletops this year. We also put in a small grass track and a small rocky area for the big bikes. Should be a really fun course.
